Why choose us
Why builders and owners book us.
A floor heating system is buried under concrete, screed or tiles for the life of the house. It has to be right the first time.
Start with your plansBuilt to Last
Great heating starts with great workmanship. Our installations are carefully planned and professionally completed, with attention to every detail to deliver dependable performance, safety and lasting quality.
Designed for Efficiency
Comfort and efficiency go hand in hand. We design modern heating systems that provide consistent, even warmth while making the most of your energy, so you get a comfortable space without unnecessary energy use.
Tailored to Your Space
No two projects are the same. We take the time to understand your space, flooring, layout and heating requirements before designing a solution around you, so the system works with your home and lifestyle.
Pressure tested before it is covered
You get the test certificate and the loop photos for your file before the pour, so the job passes inspection first time.

How it works
From plans to warm floors.
- 01
Plans & site visit
Send us your plans or book a site visit. We look at the floor construction, the rooms you want heated and how the house will be used.
- 02
Design & quote
You get a loop layout, heat-loss calcs, the heat pump or boiler we recommend, and one price. We adjust it with you until it is right.
- 03
Install & test
We lay and clip the pipe or cable, fit the manifold, then test and sign it off before it is covered.
- 04
Switch on & hand over
Once the floor is finished we connect the heat source, balance the loops, set up the thermostats and show you how to run it.
Sample reviews shown while our Google reviews are being connected.
“The whole ground floor is warm, even in the corners.”
In-slab hydronic through the living areas and kitchen. The team worked around our concreter, tested everything before the pour and the floor has been perfect through two winters.
“One price and they turned up when they said.”
We had quotes all over the place. Barefoot gave us one clear number and coordinated with the builder so nothing was held up.
“Bathrooms warm in ten minutes.”
Electric cable under the tiles in both bathrooms and the laundry. Each room on its own thermostat and the running cost is a lot less than we expected.
“They found the leak without lifting a tile.”
Another company wanted to rip up the floor. Barefoot used a thermal camera, found the spot, opened one small section and repaired the pipe the same day.
“Swapped our gas boiler for a heat pump.”
Runs off the solar most of the day now. They sized it properly, kept the old radiators and the house is warmer than it was on gas.
“Neat pipe work and a labelled manifold.”
Photos of every loop before the screed went down. As a builder that is exactly what I want to hand to a client at completion.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
Hydronic (warm water in pipes) suits whole-home heating in a new build or major renovation. It runs on a heat pump, so it is cheap to run and can use your solar. Electric cable is ideal for individual bathrooms, ensuites and laundries where you want quick, zoned warmth under tiles. Many homes use both.
Yes. In-screed systems go over an existing slab, under-timber systems fit between the joists of a timber floor, and electric cable goes straight under new tiles. We will tell you what suits your floor construction and ceiling heights.
Hydronic floors run on water at 35 to 45 degrees, so a heat pump delivers several units of heat per unit of electricity. Electric cable is best on a timer in smaller rooms. We give you an estimated running cost with your quote.
No. We book around your builder's programme and have the pipe laid and tested before the pour. Electric cable can go down the day before tiling. We work to the builder's programme, not ours.
Tiles, stone, polished concrete, engineered timber, hybrid and vinyl planks, and most carpets with the right underlay. We advise on the best finish and thickness for your system so the heat gets through.
Leaks are rare because the pipe is continuous and tested before it is covered. If one does happen we find the spot with a thermal camera and open only that section. In most cases the rest of the floor stays down.
We design and install across Sydney and surrounds, including the Hills, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and the Shire. Tell us your suburb when you enquire and we will confirm.
Send your plans or a few details through the form, or call us. You get a loop layout, a plant recommendation and one price, usually within two business days.
